Lake Abiquiú

Red sandstone formations surround this beautiful 5,200 surface acre lake reservoir that sits at 6,400' in elevation. Lake Abiquiú offers some of the finest fishing in northern New Mexico. Reptile fossils 200 million years old have been found in the area.
